I
am now selling a beautiful Christian Dell-designed wall lamp, model 6723. It was
designed in the 1930s (original design from 1931), in metal and brass. It is black
in color, in 100% original vintage condition, a lovely lamp with its original character
and patina, with a slight age-related wear that testifies to its history.
The
lamp has been completely overhauled, without affecting the lamp's beautiful patina,
in the form of a new electrical wiring harness (throughout the lamp) with a new
and contemporary twisted fabric cord (about 2.2 meters) and a new grounded plug.
It has also been thoroughly washed, cleaned and polished. This lamp is ready for
its new home!
The
model has a rare ball joint that allows the lamp to be angled in several directions,
providing optimal flexibility and function.
The
renowned German silversmith and Bauhaus chairman Christian Dell designed the timeless
Kaiser Idell series for Gebr. Kaiser & Co. in the 1930s, and this Model 6723
is a stunning example of his innovative style. The lamp is a symbol of noble German
design and precise engineering.
Secure
yourself this true and "honest" classic, which exudes timeless elegance
and industrial charm!
