I am now selling a
great vintage lamp from the 1950s, designed by Louis Kalff for Philips. Orange painted
perforated, round lampshade in aluminum.
It has a beautiful
orange-painted round aluminum foot with a cast iron counterweight inside the
base. The arm up to
the lampshade is painted black, a curved brass rod, which creates a beautiful
contrast to the warm, orange color of the rest of the lamp.
This lamp is designed in UFO style, as much of the design at the time had a link to space travel. It is in very good
condition, with only a very few brands "here and there". This lamp has an
incredibly beautiful design and is guaranteed to make a statement in any home!
The lamp uses one
bulb of the type E27, with 100 watts max. Any type of
light bulb with E27 socket can be used, but for this lamp a "Silvertop
light bulb (new bulb included with the lamp) is preferred for the"
downlight effect ".
It has a new wire
(approx. 3 meters), as well as a new light switch.
