I am now offering this incredibly beautiful table fan, manufactured by Ercole Marelli, (Milan) in the 1930s.
It is not often that you see such a large, vintage table fan from Marelli, so this is a rare opportunity. It has been completely overhauled, it has been completely disassembled and cleaned, and it has had new grease on all the shafts and gears. It has also had a new, contemporary, spun cable (2 m) and a new plug, all electrical work has been done by a professional.
It has several speeds and can be used in two modes: Fixed (blowing straight ahead) or movable (moving from side to side), this is operated on the back of the fan. The brass blades and protective grille are untouched, the old patina is thus retained, but it provides a really great contrast against the black fan.
Some light marks "here and there" on the fan itself but what can you expect from an object that is almost 100 years old (read; patina)! The fan has a diameter of 44 cm, with a total height of 53 cm. The base itself is made of cast iron that is painted black, this is a solid and heavy fan, at a full 9 kg!
This fan is truly a great piece of furniture, which really makes its mark on your home!
