The two-armed table lamp model "6580 Super" designed by Christian Dell
for Kaiser Idell, will soon be available ! This is an original edition, which was designed in 1932. It's
not often this model is put up for sale!
The lamp consists of a weighted base with
two lampshades in black steel, chromed, nickel-plated arms. The lamps feature the
original Bakelite E27 bulb holders with the integrated rotary switch function.
It has adjustable arms that can be raised/lowered and twisted laterally, the lampshades
can also be rotated.
The lamp has some light marks of use, or patina as it is also
called, which "belongs" to an almost 100-year-old lamp! The lamp will
get a light overhaul and service, as well as a new and contemporary, twisted fabric
cord, which is contemporary from when the lamp was new. The remaining electrical
wiring will also be replaced, so that the entire wiring harness will be new. All
electrical work will be carried out by a professional.
